Free Christian Library

Immanuel offers a free Christian Library to friends and neighbors in the surrounding church neighborhood. There are books for all ages to be shared with the community. Books are free and are all of Christian content. They can be taken, shared, borrowed or traded.

On Sept. 20, 2013 Immanuel Lutheran Church's "Free Christian Library" opened for business. All the books are Christian, and they don't have to be returned or traded. This gives everyone access to Christian books they can keep in their home and read over and over again. There are books for everyone from children to adult. It's Imannuel's way to minister to the community any time of the day. The Library is located close to the street beside Immanuel Lutheran Church's driveway. We share a church building with St. John United Methodist Church at 140 Poinsett Drive. Orrin Mahaffey built the library and Ray Davenport created the signs. Adult books were donated by Pastor Bob Huggins of St. John United Methodist Church. Others who want to donate new or gently used Christian books may drop them off at the church during regular business hours or call 803-883-1049 to arrange for pick up. Stop by and enjoy our library!
